The Central Bank of Latvia Award 2009 to SSE Riga students

The Central Bank of Latvia organizes student research competition annually, and this year four out of five awards have been awarded to SSE Riga students:
2nd place

"Technology Transfer: What Is FDI Influence on Total Factor Productivity in Latvian Economy Sectors?" by Artūrs Čirjevskis and Edgars Grāvis;
“Expansionary Fiscal Consolidations: Theory, Evidence and Possible Channels in the New Member States” by Ramune Rimgailaite and Darja Samohina.

3rd place

“The Latvian Overnight Interbank Market's Convergence to Eurozone” by Mārtiņš Bajārs and Arvis Tilgalis;“Industrial Cluster Effect on Latvian Export Performance: Industry Level Analysis” by Linda Solovjova and Dmitrijs Mūriņš.
